Team kenya won a gold, silver and bronze in recently concluded 2024 africa zone 4.4 chess championship that just ended at destiny hotel in antananarivo, madagascar.
The top 10 players (only kenyan nationals) in each category will be invited for a round robin play offs with rate of play 90 minutes flat in nairobi from 17th (arrival) to 21st (departure). The winner of each section will be declared the national champion 2024 of the respective category and earn an invited slot for international event.
